Winged Things Pocket Letter

{Mini 3 pocket Pocket Letter}

Hello all!
Yes, it's me...have to confess I don't get to post as much as I'd like these days {months...lol} but real life has been very busy. That's a good thing though, right? Yes it is....making memories with family and friends will always take precedent for me. :) Speaking of friends, I enjoy my "virtual" friends as much as I do those "in real life." I have developed lasting friendships with several of my pals at Pocket Letter Pals, here in the US and abroad, and I love to swap happy mail with them. Back in January I swapped a "winged things" pocket letter with a pal and I'm finally getting around to posting my 3D pocket letter. I did share a sneak peek of it on my Instagram page @lisasnowdy  but here's the full reveal. This one was a fave of mine because I look forward to the return of butterflies and hummingbirds every spring!

I love the color scheme of Graphic 45's Botanical Tea and the paper collection was perfect as it includes both of my "winged things."

The pretty pleated ribbon at the top was gifted to me a long time ago by a sweet friend, Jeanne Jachna. It's from Stamping Up and I enjoy using it so much, adds a special touch in my opinion. I also added pearl bling to the ribbon and to the pretty punched {MS} butterflies. I cut another hummingbird from a second sheet and layered it on top for a dimensional effect. The paper roses are by Prima and they were the perfect shade of pink and blue.

A wood butterfly was added to a fussy cut butterfly from the paper collection and a twine bow was tied. Glitter alpha stickers spell out "4 Ina" and that's my pals name. She is so sweet! I added chipboard pieces also from the collection and die cut a scroll from Tim's Movesr and Shapers die.

To the spine I added some ephemera and recorded the swap theme and date. A pretty hummingbird chipboard piece and blue/white twine finish it off.

Here is the pocket letter I received from my pal, Ina. I love it!!!

This was such fun to make and I'm so happy that my pal loved it!
I'm off to write another blog post to share with you tomorrow of more outgoing pl's I created earlier this year. If I keep this up maybe they'll all make it here before the year is over. ;)

Have a great day, wherever you are!
Lisa xx
